WSB – Deleting Old Versions
If you are trying to free up some space on an backup drive (IE, to make room while migrating from Acronis), here are some tips:
- See how many backups are on the drive:
- Delete all but the 30 most recent backups:
wbadmin delete backup -keepVersions:30

- This will take a while if you have a lot of backups and will require some babysitting if there are bad backups listed
